Vince Carter, LMSW

Specializes in Men's Mental Health

When a man needs to fix a car, he finds the right tools. But when a man is feeling unwell on the inside, our society says, ‘Man up!’ – which is never the answer. Men by nature are problem-solvers, but without the right coping tools, you might be stuck. Shame or stubbornness can hold you back, but don’t let it. Most of the men I work with say going to therapy was the best decision they made to truly solve problems, restore hope, and reclaim their lives.

I work with adult men of all ages. Young adult men navigating a new job, relationships, early fatherhood, ideas of masculinity, or older men struggling with pain, retirement, regrets, and life adjustments. I can help with issues like alcohol, substance use, divorce, trauma, grief, gambling, anger, anxiety, depression, and veteran issues (my past service in the military fuels my desire to help our veteran families).

I’m highly motivated, a Christ follower, and I adhere to treating anyone with respect, honesty, and dignity. I truly believe hope is possible during difficult times in life. You may be in a crisis. Maybe you’ve struggled in your relationships. You might be feeling confused and overwhelmed about what to do next. I care about your journey and I’m here to talk through any challenge you face.
