As a therapist and human, I’m committed to creating an environment where we recognize your personal resilience, inherent strengths, and the unique stories and experiences that make YOU who you are. Therapy should not only be a space to navigate challenges and explore solutions, but also a journey where we can discover and leverage your strengths to achieve long-term fulfillment and empowerment throughout your whole life. 

Many of us don’t have a space in life where we can be completely authentic, knowing that the person sitting across from you truly has your best interests at heart. I hope to be that person for you. I want to give you the space to focus 100% on yourself, your goals, and your dreams for the future. 

In addition to employing evidence-based practices like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy, I recognize the importance of going beyond the textbook. Our own life experiences as therapists shape how we connect and relate to others. For me personally, navigating two cultures as a child of immigrant parents, coping with losses, and being part of a blended family have given me perspectives that transcend conventional therapy techniques. These experiences enable me to connect with others on a profound level, cultivating an environment of genuine understanding, empathy, and shared humanity.

I am here to support you, offering warmth, understanding and unwavering compassion throughout your journey of healing and personal growth. Remember, you matter, and you are the expert of your own life. Therapy is what you make of it. We’ll go at your own pace. Whether it’s general stress, anxiety, depression, or navigating relationships, we’ll create therapy goals that are specific to your unique needs. I have always wanted to help others through my career. Being able to make a positive impact on people’s lives has guided my choices and led me to becoming a therapist. It is this passion for making a difference and fostering positive change that fuels my dedication to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and discover their own paths to healing and growth. I see therapy not as a one-size-fits-all solution, but as a tool that can empower individuals to explore their inner worlds, confront obstacles, and cultivate resilience. Whether facing everyday stressors, managing mental health concerns, or seeking to build personal confidence, therapy offers a unique and invaluable space for self-discovery and positive change.

FAVORITE SELF-CARE

I love having time for myself and engaging in activities that I find comforting, whether that is reading, listening to a podcast, or taking a nap. I also feel recharged after talking with the closest people in my life. Having a strong support system is important for anyone! 

FUN FACTS

  • I am a Swiftie, meaning I LOVE Taylor Swift. It was rare, I was there (at the Eras Tour!!).
  • I am Hmong, a small ethnic group from Southeast Asia.

LIFE MOTTOS

  • “Life is so subtle sometimes that you barely notice yourself walking through the doors you once prayed would open.” This is a humbling reminder of being present in my life and reflecting on past experiences that led me to be right where I have always hoped for.

  • As cliche as it sounds, “You never know unless you try.”  Sometimes we are in our own way of making changes, trying new things, or pursuing our goals so this is a reminder to just try and see where things go.
