During an initial nutrition counseling session, we will have the opportunity to hear more about your unique experiences around food, where you’ve been on your journey, where you find yourself to be at and where you would like to be. We will holistically review your desired outcomes for treatment in depth so that we can create a tailored plan accordingly. From there, we will use this time during following sessions to provide continued support as you take steps toward your goals. This will include reviewing how our plan is going, what you are experiencing, what behaviors and thoughts are coming up for you, and if there are any adjustments needed.
$120Family sessions are reserved for multiple members of a family to work on nutritional goals together. This is a non-judgmental space for family members to express their thoughts, feelings, and preferences about household groceries, family meals, shared goals, and collaborative efforts to strengthen the whole family’s nourishment. Whether you need inclusive meals to accommodate one member’s dietary needs or you want to overhaul the whole family’s approach to eating, family sessions are intended to address concerns that affect multiple people.
$150These sessions are beneficial for those who find themselves needing brief check-ins to make sure they are still on track or to discuss obstacles they are encountering that may not have been foreseen. During our brief nutrition counseling sessions, we will review what has been occurring, how the changes have been affecting you and what we can do to make adjustments as needed.
$80Meal plans are a beneficial tool that can sometimes make everyday life a little easier. Planning your meals ahead of time allows you to focus on other things in life and allows you to prioritize your needs. In creating a meal plan, we will discuss what foods you enjoy, have access to, aren’t a fan of and what you would like to try that is new to you. We will review your meal preparation access and tailor your meal plan to your life.
$150Cooking can be a stressful task to take on. Sometimes we may not feel confident in our abilities or we may struggle to find motivation to prepare meals for ourselves. Learn how to navigate a kitchen with confidence, what food safety entails, and how to follow a recipe from start to finish.
$100Sometimes we just need a little reminder to stay on track. Sometimes we need a quick chat to talk through moments of sudden stress or anxiety. Whether you feel overwhelmed or just need some encouragement, an accountability phone call can help address what is going on in the moment.
$30Learn how to navigate a grocery store with more confidence and education. Support during your trip to the grocery store can be beneficial to help you think through the items you want to select, asking questions in real-time about foods you aren’t familiar with or want some clarifications on, and learning how to read food labels and claims to make the most informed decisions.
$100Sometimes our mental health can make it hard to find time or motivation to prioritize food. Taking care of yourself includes nourishing your body adequately and consistently. Allow meal support to take a little pressure off of feeling like you have to get through it alone. During this time, we can create a space to explore what makes eating challenging for us at times and come up with strategies on how to make mealtimes less of a struggle.
$50Many times, individuals are left with more questions than answers after receiving results from labs. Doctors don’t always go over every detail and tend to focus on singular items, depending on why labs were drawn. Having a registered dietitian interpret your nutritionally relevant lab results will allow you to understand the full picture of what is going on internally. It will also allow concerns to be addressed through any combination of nutrition services listed above if there are any values outside of normal ranges.
$50Please be aware that patients seeking any nutrition services must be also receiving psychotherapy services as part of our Eating Disorder Treatment program.
Eating disorders can create barriers to achieving adequate and consistent food intake, but meal support can teach patients how to understand and push back on their rules and fears while receiving real-time support and guidance. During meal support sessions, we will challenge food rules, face food challenges and work on increasing variety and overall food intake. We will create goals for each meal that will vary from achieving completion to challenging thoughts or behaviors.
$50Learn how to support your loved one living with an eating disorder so that you can properly assist them with mealtimes and staying on track with their treatment plan. This is an opportunity to learn the specific strategies that you can use to be a strong part of their recovery support system.
$100Many patients receiving treatment for an eating disorder have family members, such as parents or other pillars of support, who are actively interested in the individual’s recovery journey. This service is an opportunity for a family member to receive a thorough progress update. Discussion will focus on the patient’s successful steps, as well as identifying concerns to address.
$30Are you struggling to obtain accommodations in school, college housing/dining, the workplace, or another area of concern? This is an opportunity to receive assistance advocating for your needs so that you can stay on track with your treatment goals.
