Sometimes we feel a little lost in the world, but I want you to know you always have a place here, without any expectations or judgements. What if you could remove and redirect negative thoughts and feelings and allow yourself to find true connection again? Through therapy, we’ll develop a safe connection to explore how you can start living your most fulfilling life.
My purpose is to give you space to go wherever you need, exploring whatever is on your mind, while completely accepting you, honoring your experience, and taking steps toward healing and discovering freedom. Think of therapy as an investment in yourself. We are so quick to invest in others, whether it be our family, friends, or children. Now is the times to focus on you!
We will start by developing goals that you want to achieve and plan to accomplish those goals. You will begin to learn more about yourself and what matters to you both within your relationship with yourself and others. I will be here to support and encourage you as you work through new, adaptive coping strategies and skills to replace the older, non-helpful ones.
I value YOU above all. I will always respect and appreciate your view and opinions above everything else. I believe open communication within the therapeutic relationship is essential. Throughout this process, feedback is always encouraged and welcomed here, so please be honest and open with your worries and fears. This will allow for our relationship to be open and truthful and ensure you are receiving the most effective care and that your needs are being met.
One of my earliest memories is going out for dinner with my grandfather. We called him Zayde. He and I shared a birthday and he was always known for his genuine emotion and kindness. My grandfather got his Masters in Counseling and every day that I work as a therapist I feel that I am continuing to live out his incredible legacy.
I truly appreciate and value genuine connection. I appreciate getting to know people and developing a safe rapport. I appreciate being challenged and most of all being able to help another person in any way that I can.
While therapeutic methods are important, one of the most crucial predictors to success in therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. It is a unique opportunity to have a relationship where YOU are the sole focus, where you are given space to feel intimately supported and honored as someone is listening intently with compassion and empathy. I provide consistency that facilitates safety and security. By creating space for you, therapy can be the place to learn new behaviors and skills to change your life.
When I am not doing therapy, you can find me spending time with loved ones or at the gym. Fitness is a passion of mine, and I may still pursue a personal trainer certification. I believe strengthening both the body and mind and developing a connection between the two. I also love music and the outdoors.
You matter.
You’re never alone.
We care about you.
