Eileen Goff, LLPC

If it’s important to you, it’s important to me.

My favorite thing in the world is to affirm for someone that their feelings matter. In therapy, I want you to feel safe expressing all of your thoughts and emotions.

There is no problem too big or too small to talk about. No matter the situation, your reactions and feelings are important.

Therapy with me is laidback. You decide what we talk about, and we simply have a conversation. It can be as lighthearted or as deep as you’re comfortable with. I’ll listen to your story. I’ll ask you questions to help you think about things, which often leads people to develop a stronger understanding of themselves. This process can help clarify your goals, build confidence, problem-solve, and find a deeper sense of wellness. I’ll share my insights with you, as well as some tips (also known as “coping skills”) to help you with whatever you are facing.

When you’re ready, I would love to meet you and get started.

"Eileen is very sweet! She is amazing with kids and teens but also excellent with adults. She tailors every therapy experience for you and your needs. She believes all people are unique and strong in all different ways."
"Especially skilled with helping people build self-esteem, confidence, and belief in themselves. Eileen is highly affirming. She wants you to be authentic and is very good at helping you feel like you can be yourself!"
"She cares so much about all the people that she works with. Eileen is very good with coping skills and can help you manage emotions to feel more in control. She is also amazing with validation and empathy."

I view therapy as a collaborative process. My patients tell me what they need help with, and we work together to figure out what their best course of action is. My job isn’t to tell you what to do and send you away. My job is to listen to you and empower you to take action to improve your life.

Most importantly, I love providing a truly honest space for people. It can be hard to find places in the world where we can be completely open and authentic. I want to create this for you in our work together. Counseling is a safe, confidential space to talk about whatever you need. It’s a compassionate space where you will never be belittled or judged. There are no subjects that are off limits. I’m here for you and would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey toward a stronger, healthier life.

FAVORITE SELF-CARE

  • I love watching comedy shows to relax.
  • I snuggle with my guinea pigs when I’m feeling down and need some love.
  • I journal and color when I have some feelings that I need to work through.

FUN FACTS

  • I love animals! I have two guinea pigs named Sherlock and Gregory.
  • I’m really nerdy. I play video games (not necessarily well, but I have fun!) and I lead a Dungeons & Dragons group.
  • I hope to attend Hogwarts someday, and I’ll be in Hufflepuff house! 🙂

LIFE MOTTO

  • “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” — Albus Dumbledore
